Day 4 – Wednesday 12/12

Starting another day with a pastry. I will walk it all off later, right?

Yesterday, Kyle asked me to choose a wine bar and he would meet me there after work. He knows that I would be tepid about doing it, but he pushes me every so slightly. I approach and say “une vin.” Success! I sit outside and wait for him! We have a small charcuterie plate and head back to the hotel to relax before dinner.

Les Droles is on the menu for tonight. So excited to try this restaurant. Tiny little space, cute bike hanging from the wall.

 

Foie gras… I am just not a fan. But, this camembert cheese!! The fish croquet was fishy, but the eggplant with the duck was amazing! How have you lived if you have not had crème brulee? Well, now Kyle has had it. This pudding was darker, then I have seen it. Possibly due to the eggs they use? The milk and eggs are all shelf stable and not refrigerated. Overall, just a fun night exploring and eating!!
